Internal Logic
The domain knowledge that makes AI useful
Every industry carries an accumulated body of knowledge that veterans just know: rules, constraints, heuristics, exceptions, and realities that govern how a business or domain actually operates. This knowledge is rarely documented. It lives in the judgment of experienced practitioners and surfaces only when violated.
AI without Internal Logic is just a fast coder who doesn't understand your business
Most AI-assisted development treats the human as a reviewer: AI builds, the human catches mistakes. The domain knowledge only surfaces at review time, after the work is already done. Velocity looks high. Rework is also high.
Without IL encoded into the governance layer, AI produces technically correct output that is contextually wrong. With IL encoded, AI operates within domain truth, not just technical competence. The innovation is not “use AI to build software.” It is: provide a framework for encoding Internal Logic so that AI executes within the domain’s actual rules.
AI is the engine. IL is the map. CH(Ai)SE is the framework that connects them.
